It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,651.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tomoko Sawada; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot School Days sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,468.29).
