Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work MASQUERADE I-50 & Appearance by Tomoko Sawada. The price achieved of HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,351.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. Other works by Tomoko Sawada have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work School Days was auctioned for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,468.29).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit MASQUERADE I-50 & Appearance von Tomoko Sawada zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.351,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Sawada konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit School Days für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.468,29) versteigert.
