Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Desert river by Tom Robertson was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in April 2007. The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 966.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Tom Robertson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sailing By Moonlight in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,194.42).
