The work Schumann, from Composers by Tom Phillips was sold in the British Printmaking auction at Christies in London in February 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 375.00 (€ 490.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Phillips achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berlin Wall with German Grass and Skies II in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,852.22).

Die Arbeit Schumann, from Composers von Tom Phillips wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion British Printmaking bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 490,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Phillips erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berlin Wall with German Grass and Skies II im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.852,22).
