Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tom Hunter could be acquired at Phillips in London in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Crows Road changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,394.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Reading A Possession Order in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,782.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tom Hunter konnte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Crows Road für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.394,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Reading A Possession Order im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.782,48).
