Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in London held the auction No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition, which included the work The Vale of Rest (from Life and Death in Hackney series) by Tom Hunter. The price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 587.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Reading A Possession Order in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,782.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Vale of Rest (from Life and Death in Hackney series) von Tom Hunter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 587,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Reading A Possession Order im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.782,48).
