The work The Dolphin (from Public Houses series) by Tom Hunter was worth GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,807.32) to a buyer in October last year. This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tom Hunter; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Woman Reading A Possession Order sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,782.48).
