Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus by Tom Bianchi was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,145.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Bianchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Sailing), which sold at auction in July this year for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Tom Bianchi kam im Juli 2019 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.145,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Bianchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Sailing) beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57) versteigert wurde.
