Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus by Tom Bianchi was sold in the Stonewall@50 Photographs Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,374.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Bianchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Sailing), which sold at auction in July this year for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Tom Bianchi wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.374,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Bianchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Sailing) beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57) versteigert wurde.
