Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dive without a splash by Tom Bianchi was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,272.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Bianchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Sailing), which sold at auction in July this year for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dive without a splash von Tom Bianchi kam im Februar 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.272,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Bianchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Sailing) beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57) versteigert wurde.
