This artwork by Tom Bianchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in December this year. In the The Gift of Photographs auction, the work Untitled (Male Nudes on Sofa) sold for USD 2,816.00 (€ 2,545.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tom Bianchi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Sailing) sold at auction in July this year with the realized price of USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,484.57).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tom Bianchi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Sailing) im Juli diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.484,57).
