Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Timothy O'Sullivan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Ancient Ruins In The Cañon De Chelle, N.M.' in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 90,749.61).
