Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Timothy O'Sullivan could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Selected Images From The Wheeler Survey changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,340.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Timothy O'Sullivan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Ancient Ruins In The Cañon De Chelle, N.M.' in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 90,749.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
