Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From The Equus Series, 2008 by Tim Flach was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2019. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,782.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Flach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ya Yun Elegant, 2012, which sold at auction in May 2018 for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,549.27).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.782,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tim Flach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ya Yun Elegant, 2012 beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.549,27) versteigert wurde.
