Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Penny working the bracken from Dog Gods by Tim Flach was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 16,023.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Flach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ya Yun Elegant, 2012, which sold at auction in May 2018 for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,549.27).
