Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 3,585.00 (€ 2,203.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Johnson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, which sold at auction in August 2009 for AUD 14,400.00 (€ 8,466.04).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 3.585,00 (€ 2.203,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
