Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wind God, Thunder God and the Shadow Fuji by Tiger Tateishi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The price achieved of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 67,425.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tiger Tateishi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wind God, Thunder God and the Shadow Fuji von Tiger Tateishi kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 67.425,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tiger Tateishi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77) versteigert wurde.
