Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Moon'S Architecture by Tiger Tateishi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,164.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tiger Tateishi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moon'S Architecture von Tiger Tateishi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.164,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tiger Tateishi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77).
