Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tiger Tateishi could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection auction, the work Biscuits Moon changed hands for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,404.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tiger Tateishi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tiger Tateishi konnte im November 2017 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection wechselte die Arbeit Biscuits Moon für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.404,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tiger Tateishi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77).
