In May last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Il pianeta organico by Tiger Tateishi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,000.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tiger Tateishi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il pianeta organico von Tiger Tateishi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.000,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tiger Tateishi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77).
