Artwork auctioned at seven times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Tiger Tateishi was worth HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,705.37) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Tiger Tateishi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,927,500.00 (€ 168,498.77).
Kunstwerk zum Siebenfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Tiger Tateishi war einem Käufer im April 2017 HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.705,37) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tiger Tateishi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moon-Sea-Brain - Sea of Seven Happiness im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.927.500,00 (€ 168.498,77).
