Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A.B.W.D.11 by Thomas Zipp was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,182.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Zipp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Medicine # 1“. in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A.B.W.D.11 von Thomas Zipp wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.182,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Zipp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Medicine # 1“. im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 81.250,00.
