Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Wijck could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work View Of Italianate Buildings On The Banks Of A River changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,446.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Wijck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mediterranean Harbour Scene With Oriental Merchants in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Wijck konnte im Juli 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
