Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Kreis (Circle) by Thomas Helbig for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,306.75). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Helbig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seeräuber-Jenny. Um 1991/92. in June 2015 with an auction result of CHF 23,300.00 (€ 22,349.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kreis (Circle) von Thomas Helbig für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.306,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Day Auction) bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Helbig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seeräuber-Jenny. Um 1991/92. im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 23.300,00 (€ 22.349,53).
