Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Schafott by Thomas Helbig for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,694.47). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thomas Helbig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seeräuber-Jenny. Um 1991/92. in June 2015 with an auction result of CHF 23,300.00 (€ 22,349.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Schafott von Thomas Helbig für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.694,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Helbig auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seeräuber-Jenny. Um 1991/92. im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 23.300,00 (€ 22.349,53).
