In the CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work Misfit (Cow) sold for GBP 28,200.00 (€ 44,182.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thomas Grünfeld; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Misfit (Cow) sold at auction in June 2003 with the realized price of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,649.28).
