Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Thiago Rocha Pitta was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,377.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thiago Rocha Pitta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tres Nuvens De Lama (Three Mud Clouds), which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,875.76).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thiago Rocha Pitta kam im September 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.377,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Thiago Rocha Pitta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tres Nuvens De Lama (Three Mud Clouds) beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.875,76) versteigert wurde.
