In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Untitled (Herança) by Thiago Rocha Pitta. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,980.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Thiago Rocha Pitta have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Tres Nuvens De Lama (Three Mud Clouds) was auctioned for USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,875.76).

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Herança) von Thiago Rocha Pitta zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.980,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Thiago Rocha Pitta konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2021 die Arbeit Tres Nuvens De Lama (Three Mud Clouds) für USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.875,76) versteigert.
