Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2015 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art 2, which included the work Capucines Vertes, Soir by Theodore Earl Butler. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Earl Butler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flag Day in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 552,500.00 (€ 487,944.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Capucines Vertes, Soir von Theodore Earl Butler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 20.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Earl Butler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flag Day im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 552.500,00 (€ 487.944,89).
