Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Brooklyn Bridge, New York by Theodore Earl Butler. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,562.50 (€ 26,416.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Earl Butler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flag Day in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 552,500.00 (€ 487,944.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge, New York von Theodore Earl Butler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.562,50 (€ 26.416,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Earl Butler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flag Day im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 552.500,00 (€ 487.944,89).
