Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Cattle Watering Under An Oak Tree by Thaddeus Welch. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,906.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Thaddeus Welch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Cattle Watering Under An Oak Tree was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,160.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle Watering Under An Oak Tree von Thaddeus Welch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.906,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Thaddeus Welch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2018 die Arbeit Cattle Watering Under An Oak Tree für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.160,71) versteigert.
