Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Twiggy, 1966 by Terence Donovan was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,840.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,292.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Twiggy, 1966 von Terence Donovan wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.840,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence Donovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, London, 1967 beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.292,05) versteigert wurde.
