The work Bi-Counter No. 2 by Tatsuo Miyajima was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,770.95), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tatsuo Miyajima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work T.L. SAKURA in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,900,000.00 (€ 286,529.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bi-Counter No. 2 von Tatsuo Miyajima wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.770,95) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tatsuo Miyajima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit T.L. SAKURA im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.900.000,00 (€ 286.529,61).
