Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work C.F. Protrusensitive No.1 by Tatsuo Miyajima. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,552.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tatsuo Miyajima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work T.L. SAKURA in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,900,000.00 (€ 286,529.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit C.F. Protrusensitive No.1 von Tatsuo Miyajima zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.552,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tatsuo Miyajima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit T.L. SAKURA im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.900.000,00 (€ 286.529,61).
