Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Multiple portrait of Marinetti by Guglielmo Sansoni was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in October 2001. It changed hands for a price of USD 21,150.00 (€ 23,518.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Sansoni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avvitamento, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 43,812.00 (€ 50,818.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Multiple portrait of Marinetti von Guglielmo Sansoni wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 23.518,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Sansoni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avvitamento beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 43.812,00 (€ 50.818,78) versteigert wurde.
