Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Portrait du poete Fanelli, 1930 by Guglielmo Sansoni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Sansoni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avvitamento, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 43,812.00 (€ 50,818.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait du poete Fanelli, 1930 von Guglielmo Sansoni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 18.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Sansoni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avvitamento beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 43.812,00 (€ 50.818,78) versteigert wurde.
