Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Un Sol En Algún Otro Lugar by Tania Bruguera for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,917.44). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tania Bruguera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Destierro (Displacement) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,903.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Un Sol En Algún Otro Lugar von Tania Bruguera für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.917,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tania Bruguera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Destierro (Displacement) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.903,95).
