Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Era Of Children by Tang Zhigang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 1,060,000.00 (€ 103,762.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Zhigang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,020,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Era Of Children von Tang Zhigang kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.060.000,00 (€ 103.762,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Zhigang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.020.000,00.
