The work Drilling by Tang Zhigang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,781.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Zhigang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,020,000.00.

Die Arbeit Drilling von Tang Zhigang kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.781,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Zhigang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.020.000,00.
