Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chinese Fairy Tales by Tang Zhigang was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 93,909.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Zhigang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,020,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chinese Fairy Tales von Tang Zhigang wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 93.909,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Zhigang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.020.000,00.
