The work Chinese Fairytale Series by Tang Zhigang was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Zhigang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,020,000.00.

Die Arbeit Chinese Fairytale Series von Tang Zhigang wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Zhigang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.020.000,00.
