Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Children In Meeting by Tang Zhigang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 73,549.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Zhigang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,020,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children In Meeting von Tang Zhigang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 73.549,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Zhigang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children In Meeting (3 Long Tables) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.020.000,00.
