Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction The Su Zhu An Collection of Chinese Paintings and Inkstones (Paintings Section), which included the work Arhat by Tang Yin. The price achieved of HKD 2,440,000.00 (€ 231,339.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain In Autumn in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,820,982.23).
