This artwork by Tang Yin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Poems In Running Script sold for USD 706,000.00 (€ 628,225.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tang Yin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain In Autumn in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,820,982.23).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Yin erzielte im September 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poems In Running Script für USD 706.000,00 (€ 628.225,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Yin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain In Autumn im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.820.982,23).
