Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Sailing on Lake Dongting in Autumn by Tang Yin. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 72,488.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain In Autumn in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,820,982.23).
