Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossom by Tang Yin was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 200,000.00 (€ 162,337.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain In Autumn in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,820,982.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossom von Tang Yin wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 162.337,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain In Autumn im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.820.982,23).
