The work Flowers by Tang Shishu was sold in the Dowager Empress Cixi: Elegance of the Late Qing auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,371.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Other works by Tang Shishu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72) in April 2016 for the work Autumnal Flowers.
