Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blossom by Tang Shishu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 28,320.00 (€ 3,116.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 12,000.00 – 32,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Shishu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumnal Flowers, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blossom von Tang Shishu wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 28.320,00 (€ 3.116,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 32.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Shishu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumnal Flowers beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) versteigert wurde.
