Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Walking In The Forest by Tang Haiwen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Walking In The Forest von Tang Haiwen kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
