Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Triptych 18 by Tang Haiwen. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,859.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Triptych 18 von Tang Haiwen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 1.859,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
